what is the actual usage of issue Collectors. Can we have Issue Collectors for Jira Software Projects ?

Is one issue collector restricted to particular issue type ?

Hi,

Issue collectors are meant to be an easy way for you to embed some HTML/javascript code onto another existing website you might have in order to use this as a means to collect feedback from end users about either your products, services, etc.

Yes you can have issue collectors in use for Jira Software projects.  However given the project permissions, you may need to use a default reporter option and then select a user account that has the permissions and application access to create issues in that project for this to work.

Yes issue collectors when created, are restricting the end user to only be able to create issues of one specific type.
