Once you’ve set up the new blank database, you’ll need to follow the instructions in https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/switching-databases-938846867.html#Switchingdatabases-differenttype

Basically, you take a backup of Jira and then connect to the new database and do an import!
