Component cannot be added or edited to a issue

Hi,

I can edit a component in component page, but cannot add or edit component in issues page. Have admin and develop and user role.

@freya Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Is it a Company managed or Team managed project?

If it is a company managed project, then could you please confirm if Component is correctly added to Issue Create/Edit screens for the Work Item type (formerly knowns as Issue Type) in the project?

Additionally, is this behavior just for you specifically or all the users in the project face a similar problem?

Hi Akash, 

It's the behavior for all the users in the project. 

Actually, component is not appeared in Issue screen. I choose edit - configure fields, then not component in there. 

Now I know that it is caused by the scheme assigned to this project and I cannot change that. So I create a new project and chose other project type so that I can change component now haha.
