Hi All,
We closed a sprint(1) two days ago, and the unresolved tickets from that sprint were carried over to the next sprint (2). Last day i closed all tickets which are moved to next sprint and I bulk updated them to sprint (1) yesterday. Now that the ticket has been closed, it still appears in the Sprint report as InProgress and they are not moved to the done status. not understating potential problems. Please assist me with this. Thanks
Hello @Rajesh Konda
The sprint report reflects the status of the issue at the time the sprint was closed. Changes to the status of the issue after that will not reflect in previous sprint reports.
This is not a problem/defect. This is how the Sprint report is intended to work.
If the incomplete issues are completed in a different sprint, then the sprint report for that sprint will show the status of the issues when that sprint is completed.
Hi @Trudy Claspill Thanks for information, is there any way to update their status on Sprint(1) report?
Mistakenly Team lead has closed the sprint without closing all tickets, now it is impacting on Board. So managers are getting bit panic by seeing report. we are looking for any alternate solution to update them on sprint report. Please suggest if we have any solution. Thanks again

You would need to reopen the closed sprint, put the issues back into that sprint, properly set the status of those issues, then re-complete the sprint. That is the only way to change the status of the issues in that sprint's report.

The usual reason for this is that your issues were not completed at the end of the sprint - they were not in the "done" column when you closed the sprint.
A complete issue is flagged as complete by being in the last column (whatever you may have named that). Its actual status or resolution is irrelevant, all that matters is whether it is in the last column or not.

Yes @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- Lead has closed sprint without closing all tickets, that actually causing issue on sprint report even though all tickets were closed. So looking for an alternate solution to display all tickets are in done status over Sprint report.
Thanks for your response, please suggest us if we have any solution. Thanks

The sprint reports on the sprint. If you had issues that were not done (in the last column) when the sprint was closed, then the sprint report will be reporting on them as not done in the sprint.
There isn't anything to "solve" here - your sprint reports are reporting what happened in the sprint.
If you want to go back and correct what your lead got wrong before, you'll need to re-open the sprint, mark all the right issues as done (in the last column), then close the sprint again.
