For basic reporting needs, Jira's dashboard gadgets usually do a pretty good job. I'm not a big dashboard expert myself (perhaps someone else can lean in?) but I'd definitely take it as a starting point.

For more advanced reporting needs, there are several options available in the Atlassian Marketplace. If you search for e.g. "reporting", you'll find a number of apps, of any size/power/complexity. I myself happen to work on an app in which this would be trivial to do: JXL for Jira - but as said, there's many options available.
