Combo box in issues detail vew

Hello,

I'm having the following issue:

In the "Bug" detailed view, I have a field "Resolution", which can be edited via a combo box directly from the detailed view screen, without going "Edit". On the other hand, I have the same field "Resolution" for "Story" issue type, but it is not editable in the Detail view.

How can I make the Resolution field to be editable in the detail view for "Story" issue type.

To answer the question on a technical level, you just need to put the resolution field on the issue's edit screen to allow it to be edited directly

However, don't.  If this resolution field is the system resolution field, you must not put it on the edit screen, because it will be incorrectly set  by users accidentally if they use the edit function.  Which means you end up with open issues that are also closed.
