Combined Workflows

Question

It appears that workflows are now combined and am seeing all columns for all workflows in the board view.  I know I can filter on workflow, but all the columns remain.  Is there any way for the filter to apply to the columns as well as the cards?  If not, this needs to be fixed.

After an initial "freak out" by our team, this will actually end up being much more efficient to switch between or even overlap some workflows.  Thanks so much for the detailed explanation and link to information on how to create multiple boards and then customize (hide unrelated columns).

The behaviour you are seeing is the result of the recent changes introduced by our development team, which aims to bridge the experience gap between business boards and software boards.

With this new change, we will deliver two new functionalities to Business project board users.

* Display work items from all workflows in single board
* Enable users to manage project progress better by mapping multiple statuses to columns

Users will get a holistic board view to reflect users’ actual company workflows, causing less confusion in locating the actual work item
