Cloud Site Rename feature - rollback

Hello team,

I'm supposed to change our product url for rebranding.

We have many Add-ons installed and according to your documentation, none of them are 100% compliant. (main point is gitlab for jira)

My question is : is there a possibility to rollback after doing this update ?

Hi,

According to the documentation, i think you can rollback, you just have to change the URL back to the previous name.

You have also a another solution which is to contact the app vendor or uninstall the app before renaming and install the app after the change.

How can I be 100% sure that rollback will work ?
Because for gitlab we can make a try, but we must be able to rollback, if not working.

Not sure but you could try it in the sandbox, but keep in mind as stated in the documentation you can only change the name 3 times.

Thanks for the reply Mohamed, I will try in a sandbox.

I have one question about the 3 times changing allowed.

As an example if I change the name A -> B -> C 

All products (already existing page) will work correctly for those 3 urls. 

If I want to change to -> D 

• products will respond for B, C & D but not for A anymore ? 
• Or I won't be able to change the name at all ?
