Cloud Instance Issue Collector 'Name' field removal

We use Jira Cloud instance and I am trying to customize an issue collector by removing 'name' and 'email'. They are great fields but since you cannot make them required fields I had to create my own custom fields. I did that and was successful with it which is great but now I need to remove the redundant fields 'name' 'email'. How can I do this?

Hello Susanne,

Unfortunately, on the cloud platform this is not possible as the only workarounds to remove the name and email fields form the issue collector currently involve modifying the files on the system backend which can only be done on a self hosted Server platform, the process for Server is outlined here but again cannot be applied to the Cloud platform as it conflicts with the Restricted functions in JIRA Cloud applications.
