Is it possible to block issue fields when they are in specific workflow status? for example, a field of summary or date to be blocked (not editable) if it is in a certain status (for example in progress).
In out-of-the-box Jira it is not possible to do this, you would need an app that allows you to set field security. If you search the Marketplace there are apps that can do this.
