It's a minor thing, but frustrating to me and my users:
We've gotten used to clicking 'Agile' giving us our task/planning board. Instead, since the upgrade to JIRA 5.0 recently, it goes to the 'Getting Started with Greenhopper' board the first time you click on it. Subsequent clicks go to the proper place.
Can I disable this? We've been using Greenhopper for a while, I don't need to see 'Getting Started' several times a day.
Hmm there seems to be a bug happening based on your environment.
The GreenHopper code will direct you to the Getting Started page IF you have never used any other GH functionality.
It stores this "decision" in locale storage of your browser.
Do you have somehting that clears local storage on exit perhaps and hence the decision keeps being forgotten?
If not I would raise a support case with Atlassian Support. I am intrigued with what is happening in your case.
Cheers

We are also having this issue and would like to disable this screen. Any suggestions?

Althought this has been answered, I would like to point out another possibility that could happen in latest Greenhopper version 6.2:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-8792
This has been fixed in GH 6.2.2 or as explained in this KB article
https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=355369754
Cheers.
