Clear Done Issue Team-Managed Project

Hi, 

 

I am an admin in a team-managed project and I used to be able to manually clear done issues. However, recently I realized that I lose the ability to do so. Do you know what might happen?

Hello @Reva Darlius 

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

If you hover your pointer on the upper right corner of the Done column do you see a button with 3 dots appear? (not the 3-dots button in the card).

When I click that More Actions button I see options like this:

If I click the Remove done items after... option I see more options like this.

If I click the Remove right now option, that clears the issues from the Done column.

Hi, yes -- so I no longer able to see that three dots anymore :(

Can you confirm that this is for a Team Managed Software project? Get the project Type information from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.

How have you confirmed that you are an Administrator for the project?

Have you checked the permissions allocated to the Project Role you have been assigned in that project? Confirm that you are assigned to a Project Role that has in fact been granted all the permissions for the project.

For me, the three dots at the on the upper right corner of the Done column are not visible. However, if you put the mouse pointer on the correct point in the upper right corner of the Done column, the pointer will change shape to a "hand" (even though the three dots cannot be seen). Clicking at this point drops down the menu indicated in the comment from @Trudy Claspill above. So the feature works, but the three dots seem to be hidden currently!

Welcome! Are you referring to clearing done issues from a Kanban board?

 

If so, a similar post will help in this regard:

I believe as long as you are a board admin, you should be able to have a drop down to clear the done issues.

Hi Benjamin, 

 

Thanks for answering! Yes, I'm aware -- the thing is the drop down that I used to be able to see now disappear. 

 

I checked and I am still an admin of a team-managed project so I'm not sure what happened.
