In the past couple of weeks or so, I have noticed 2 changes that I'm not happy with and make working with Jira less productive.
1. On comments, the edit button at the bottom is now gone and only shows up at the top. So after reading comments (which in my case often get long), I have to scroll up, find the top of the comment, and hit the edit button. Oftentimes, this triggers scrolling in the browser (a problem from last year) down well past the comment I want to edit, which makes it difficult to find my place.
2. I use tables quite a bit. I have found that now, I can no longer select multiple cells and click the "B"old button or hit Ctrl-B. I have to go into each cell, select the text, and then make it bold. The same applies to changing color. This is extremely cumbersome. I'm not sure if this is now also in Confluence, don't use it as much as Jira.
Those changes decrease productivity, and particularly the first one is frustrating when going through a long comment, and then having to FIND the edit button, which used to be at the bottom of the comment, but is now ONLY at the top. It's fine to have it at the top, but I don't see why it had to be removed from the end.
Hope that the Jira team can help improve this, which will help improve productivity for users :)
