Change name

We made the Jira account and the URL is "booming-jeroen" and we can't figure out where to change that. We want it to be "booming-jobs" or something similar, which is our company name.

We tried deleting our account and recreating it, but we have to wait WEEKS for that to be done.

Our current name looks very amateurish and we have external parties to work with. This name is not acceptable and we can't figure out how to change it.

We really want to get started with Jira and Confluence. This is blocking.

Hi Marcel,

As explained in Can I change the URL used to access a product?  Sites that are only utilizing Free plan products are not eligible for site-renaming.  You could upgrade to a standard plan, at which point you can then rename the site URL.

You can change the URL by following these steps:

1. Visit https://admin.atlassian.com/
2. Navigate to the Products Page.
3. Select Product URLs.
4. Click "Update URL" Enter the new URL to update it.
