Hi,

In project ABC, the Change function when a user hovers mouse over icon in a Jira Service Management project, the issue type list includes all issue types in project except Epic, why?

The workflows, field configurations and screen are the same/common.

I can use the Move function, but not Change.

The user reports that this used to work until recently.

Hello @LynnG

The Change function is supported for changing issues to another type only at the same level. Epics are at a different level than standard issue types, so you can't use the function to change a standard issue to an Epic or vice versa.

Hi @Trudy Claspill ,

Yes, that is what I thought. Of course the user says that he has used this function for 3 years and it stopped working last week.
This is not a function that I use. I always use the Move function which I have asked he to use as a workaround.

Thank you for confirming my assumption.
