Change URL field to Free text field

I have a URL field and now I want to change that URL field to free text field.

Is there any way to change the field other than Re-Creating it.

I don't think it's possible, you must create a new field with the type "free text" .

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
