Change Sub-Task Display - Software Space vs. Business Space

Hello. 

Is there a way to change how subtasks are displayed on boards within Software Spaces?

As an example, on boards within "Business Spaces", the subtasks are able to be collapsed/expanded depending on user preference.

However, in "Software Spaces", subtasks seem to be expanded by default and there's seemingly no way to "collapse" the subtasks like there is in "Business Spaces".

Please see the screenshots below for an example of the UI behavioral differences.

I faced the same situation But what I found was this behavior cannot be changed in Jira at the moment.

In Software projects, the subtasks are always expanded in the board by default. There is no option to expand or collapse them like in Business projects.

What I actually did was I utilized issue filters or quick filters to minimize the mess in the board

Made more use of the issue view instead of the board when working with multiple subtasks
