Change Status of Issue When Assignee is Modified

Wondering if it is possible to update the Status of an Issue by changing the Assignee?

I know that you can use Post Functions in the Workflows to do the reverse of this and modify the Assignee when the Issue Status changes but I cannot seem to figure out if the other way around is possible.

Just to clarify with an example here is what I am looking to do:
- Issue is assigned to Dev A in To Do Status

- Issues is assigned to Dev B - Would like this to then transition the Issue from To Do to Code Review Status.

Is this possible?

You could create an Automation For Jira rule like below that should do what you want.

Have you looked at the Automation feature to see if you can create rules that would handled this?
