Change Project type/description?

Hey all! I haven't used JIRA in a few years, so I'm slowly re-learning it. 

I'm just making some example projects and categories and stuff to show my team - wondering how to change or remove the subheading there of "Software Project"?

Hi Katie - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can't remove the subheading there as there are multiple types of projects and it is very helpful to know what type of project you have created, as they behave differently.
