Change Layout on Issue

Hello,

I would like to change the layout of/for the Issues.

It concerns the "Create/Edit" & also the "Browse" screen.

I created a new custom field and I don't really like the display.

At the end, there will be 6 similar fields so I'd prefer to have a clear view on them.

Create/Edit

or even better

is it possible ?

it's not possible to customize the UI like that and influence the column size without the use of third-party apps. But at least there's an issue you can vote on: JRASERVER-68631 Allow column size configuration for long field names

Maybe you can try and move the last part of the field into the field description instead to not blow up the custom field name like that?

unfortunately you can't do that using builtin features. You could try an external app like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221618/issuelayout-change-the-issue-design?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview
