Hi, how can i change the default field order for new projects?
I wanted to add start date and due date fields to all current and future projects and move them up to the top of the viewing issue screen.
I can see i can go into project settings and move them as i want but how can i make this the default?

When you create a new project it will use a default template depending on the project template you select to create it. Then, it will associate a set of screens individually to your project.
I would recommend you to create a new Screen Scheme and add to it the Screens with the fields in the order that you would like and then associate this screen scheme to your new projects.
For new creations, you can choose to duplicate an existing project's configuration if easier, rather than remembering to change the schemes each time - during project creation, near the bottom of the screen is a button "Create with shared configuration" where you can choose which project's config to duplicate.
For existing projects based on normal functionality - you're going to need to either go through and replace all the separated screen schemes with a new, central one - or go through each and change the field order.
