Categorize Projects as critical

Hello 

I am keen on understanding if Jira has a existing feature to tag projects as 'critical' within the initial list of demand prior to executing on projects. The teams are looking to build a tractability matrix of tools , wherein within Jira , one of the area is to be able to tag projects (2-3 week) as Critical  to help label appropriate priority for pick up.

Please let me know OR point me to appropriate material to help implement this feature.
