Card colors on a kanban board

I am trying to changed the colour of a card depending on a label. I have read that under board settings there should be a card colour option, but it isn't there. Is this due to a setting I have? I am the owner and an admin for the board.

What type of project are you using? Get that information from the View All Projects page under the Projects menu?

Card Colors are not available in Team Managed project boards.

Card Colors are not available in Business (Work Management) projects.

@Selena Farris you mean the label color, correct? You can edit this on any card by clicking into "labels" in the "Add to card" section. Click on the label on the card itself to toggle between color code and color code with label name.

Alternatively, you can add a "cover" to a card to change the top banner color. This sticks out more predominately, but is a manual process for each card.
