Captcha Shown Only for a Valid Login Name

Would it be possible to show CAPTCHA for any login attempt, not just for the valid usernames?

If I enter a non-existing username, CAPTCHA is never shown

Hi Jiri,

There is a Suggestion that seems to match what you're trying to do at JRASERVER-10236 and  JRACLOUD-10236 - Captcha for anonymous bug report or comment.  This feature would add exactly what you're looking for in the way of anonymous/invalid usernames being asked for CAPTCHA.

Please vote on JRACLOUD-10236 and JRASERVER-10236 and add your use case to the comments to add impact.

Cheers,

Branden

Actually, the issue is different - captcha for unknown username. Can you please create a new JIRA bug report for this?

For Confluence Captcha shows for any username, both existing and non-existing. For JIRA only for existing usernames.
