Cant assign users from my team to issues

I'm an organization admin, and the admin for 2 projects. under "People" in my project, i have 3 users. In the sprint/backlog/timeline, when im trying to attach assignee to an issue, i see only my user or "unassigned"/"automatic". This is extreamly frusturating, I want to start a sprint and assign them to my team members, but i cant.

Hi @Team Varolio ,

The users should be part of Assignable User permission in the projects.

i.e. Go to project settings --> permissions.  (https://<baseURL>.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/<PROJECTKEY>/permissions).

Check which group/users are part of Assignable User .

Add users to required groups/roles and recheck.

under "Assignable User" i have "any logged in user" doesnt that mean that they are all assignable?

Hi @Team Varolio ,

1. make use of Permission helper  and see what error you get. 
   https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-jira-admin-helper/#Permission-Helper 
2. Please check their product access.
   Some project permissions are only usable if your users also have access to the Atlassian product that checks the permission. For example, if you give someone the permission to Edit issues in a Jira Software project, they still require product access to Jira Software to gain that permission.
3. check if users have Browse Projects permission.
4. Please check if there is any Issue security scheme setup for the project ?
5. Is the issue for only one ticket or any particular status ? If yes, then please check  workflow properties and conditions.  Also check if there is any plugins like script runner etc. which block the permissions.
