Cant add Status

HI Team,

I have navigated to my project related issues or defects, i could see only few columns which are pre-populated.

The problem here is I am not able to select the filter with name "Status" as i do not see from the options displayed.

How do i configure this specific column so that i can see Status values when a click on my project specific filters.

@ADITYA VULIGONIPALLI, welcome to the Community. I am not following you here. Can you add a screenshot of where you are at when trying to select status? Are you on a Kanban board or a Search for issues screen or somewhere else?

Jack, what I am trying to tell is...when I search for any bugs reported in Jira dashboard I could only view few of the columns and I am unable to add stand alone "Status" column from the list of hidden filters .

There are around 3000+ filters which are hidden but I need to add the hidden filter so that when I export the list of all my current fields I would be left with my favourite column name "Status" and its respective status value either closed/open/in progress whatever.

So I’m still confused here. 

You mention “search for any bugs reported in Jira dashboard”. If by “Dashboard” you mean the screen where you can add gadgets then I don’t understand searching for issues there. If you mean you are searching for issues in the “Search issues” screen that makes more sense. For sure you can add the Status field as a column in the search issues view and you can export the results including all fields.

Again I think I’m missing your point and repeat my request for screen shot to help explain what you are doing.

I would also like the Status of items to be displayed when I am in a project backlog view...
