I have created Story, Epic and Bugs for a project but cannot see them in 'Backlog'. However I can see them in 'List'.
Is there something in project settings that is missing?
Hello @Kalyani Joshi ,
Welcome to the Community..!
If you can see your Story, Epic, and Bugs in the 'List' view but not in the 'Backlog' view, there are a few potential reasons and solutions you might consider:
Check Filters: Ensure that there are no filters applied in the 'Backlog' view that might be hiding your items. Look for any filter settings or search criteria that may be excluding your Story, Epic, or Bugs.
Board Configuration: Sometimes, the 'Backlog' view is configured to only show certain types of issues. Check the board settings to make sure that your issue types (Story, Epic, Bug) are included in the 'Backlog'.
Status Mapping: Verify that the status of your issues is mapped to the 'Backlog' column or is part of the workflow that appears in the 'Backlog' view. If they are in a status that the 'Backlog' doesn't recognize, they may not be displayed.
Board Setup: If you recently created a new board, it may not be configured to show all issue types. Review the board setup to ensure it's pulling in issues from the correct project and including all relevant issue types.
Hope this helps.

The list view will show all the issues of the project
When you create new issue do you see this message
Please check your board filter if its pulling the issues correct issues or the status are mapped correctly to the columns in the board
If all good and issue is still not visible please reach out https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ so that they can further see whats wrong here

Hi @Kalyani Joshi , it may be that your backlog has a filter that is excluding (or not including) those issues or it could be that the issues have moved out of the backlog and into an active sprint or...

Welcome @Kalyani Joshi
Which template did you use for the project, scrum or kanban?
Backlog is automatically enabled for scrum project. Also, is this a software or business project?
