Cannot send an e-mail using GMAIL smtp service

Hello,

I have Jira hosted on my own server, everything works except sending mails (notifications),
here is a screenshot of settings:

For sending mails, I am suing gmail account tomsk.jira@gmail.com

just to be sure, have you tried to telnet the host and port from the command line of your server?

If telnet works, increase the timeout to 30000 and retry.

So it means that my server or hosting provider is blocking me?

Yup - something is blocking. You do not have a route to google.
