Cannot preview this file type message when trying to open Excel or Msg file

There appears to be some intermittent issues with this.  I create a user story in the backlog.  Attach an Excel file.  Open the story in a new window and then click the attachment icon.  Get error message.  Then a few minutes later the preview window works.  Same for msg file although not sure they ever open in preview correctly.

Hi there!

We actually faced this same issue and we have a solution for it. It automatically detects .msg and .eml attachments in Jira and renders them properly as full email content directly in the preview, rather than showing a broken/unsupported file view.
