Cannot preview image on Jira dashboard via Confluence gadget

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We use Confluence 7.4.9 and Jira Software 8.13.8. Below is the scenario that system shows error message when previewing image.
1. We have a PNG image on a Confluence page and preview function works well.
2. We create a Confluence gadget on Jira dashboard to show the PNG image which comes from the Confluence page.
3. When we open the Jira dashboard, system shows "An internal server error occurred when requesting resource .".
4. We can see the image on Confluence gadget, but when we click on the image, system shows "We were unable to load the file previewer".
Can the errors in steps 3 and 4 above be resolved? Thanks!
