I get an email from Jira saying that I have work due in Jira. When I click on the link, I get the message "Something went wrong on our end" with this 'error' code - Hash 19E4ZFT.

Appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

Hey @Vincent Lee

Since you're on Jira Cloud, the "Something went wrong on our end" message typically indicates a temporary Atlassian-side issue or a problem with the specific link in the email.

A few things to check:

  • Can you access the work item directly in Jira instead of using the email link, e.g. by looking for the key or searching for your items that are (over)due?
  • Are you logged into the correct Atlassian account if you have access to multiple organizations?
  • Does the problem occur with all Jira notification emails or only this particular one?

If the issue persists, I'd recommend asking your Jira site admin to open a support ticket with Atlassian and provide the error hash 19E4ZFT, as Atlassian can use that reference to investigate the backend error.

Also, if you can share the URL format from the email (with any sensitive information removed), it may help identify whether the link itself is malformed.

Regards,
Thorsten

Hi @Vincent Lee Welcome!,

There is currently an active Atlassian incident that may be related to what you're seeing. As of June 9, 2026 at 05:29 UTC, Atlassian is investigating reports of intermittent errors and degraded performance for Jira Cloud customers, with "Viewing content" in partial outage. Clicking a link to a work item falls within that affected component, so it's worth checking the status page first before troubleshooting anything on your end.

If the incident resolves and you're still hitting the same error, the next step is to try opening the link in a private/incognito window and logging in fresh, which rules out a stale session or cookie issue. If that doesn't help either, pass the Hash code (19E4ZFT) to your Jira admin and ask them to raise a support ticket with Atlassian, as that code is the key piece of information their support team needs to trace the error.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Vincent Lee ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

There are few things to can do:

  • Clear cookies and cache from your current browser or open the link in an incognito window. This rules out stale session or cookie consent issues and the try accessing the link
  • Check if there are any browser extensions, disable them and test
