Cannot login to Jira/Confluence

I was trying to log in to Jira/confluence account with no luck, and it is not the first time that I am experiencing this kind of error. It always says my username or password is wrong. I used my username and tried my email address but the results are the same.

Have you tried requesting a password reset link via email and trying a new password?

Are you using any kind of Active Directory / LDAP authentication, eg. same credentials for Windows, Confluence & Jira? If yes, then your account might be locked due to entering the wrong password to often. Please check with your admins...
