Hi @Adam Walczak

If you would be interested in an alternate mktplace app, pls try out,

Worklogs Time Tracking in Jira & Timesheets

With this add-on, you can easily -

  • Prepare your reports based on Project/Sprint/Issue Type/Assignees/Authors and various other filters
  • Create user wise time reports in real time by grouping & categorizing data with aggregation
  • Group your data to build more meaningful reports
  • Enter Time Spent for multiple issues from Time sheet screen. With Calendar view and Board view
  • CSV Export
  • Dashboard gadget
  • Add and use custom attributes to worklogs (like organization, billable status, work type, cost center, etc.) and create reports based on those attributes.

Hello @Adam Walczak

The message is pretty straightforward. This means that the the app from the vendor's side is not functioning properly.

Is this the application: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222748/time-to-invoice-worklog-reports

Hey Adam! 👋

That install error is on the vendor's side, like Nikola said — nothing on your end to fix, so an actively-maintained alternative is the practical way forward. Turning worklogs into invoice-ready reports is exactly what JetTime (a third-party Jira app) is built for.

  • Split hours into your own time categories — Billable, Non-Billable, Overtime, whatever you need. Each gets its own total, so billable time comes out on a separate line — invoice-ready
  • Or track actual money on the work log. Add a custom Number field in Currency format ($), and it's totalled in the report. Good for fixed-price
  • Build the report by client, project, or user, then export to Excel or CSV and finish the invoice there
  • Break it down by user, project, account, date, or your own custom fields
  • Runs on Atlassian — your client hours and billing figures stay inside Atlassian Cloud, we don't have access

Hi Adam - If you're looking for a more established alternative, Tempo Timesheets is worth a look - it's one of the most widely used time tracking apps on the Atlassian Marketplace and handles worklog reporting with a lot of flexibility. You can filter by project, sprint, issue type, assignee, and date range, group and aggregate the data, and export to PDF, Excel, or CSV.

If the use case is client billing specifically, it also supports setting up Accounts to categorize work as billable or non-billable, which makes it easier to pull clean billing reports by client without manual filtering.

Happy to connect you with some folks to answer any questions about how it handles specific reporting scenarios.

Disclosure: I work for the team behind Tempo.

Hi @Adam  — if Time To Invoice isn't installing, you might want to try WorklogPDF (worklogpdf.com.au) as an alternative while that's being resolved.

It's a standalone web app rather than a Jira plugin — you connect via OAuth, select your project and billing period, and it generates a PDF invoice from your worklogs directly. No installation required so you won't hit the same issue.

Free tier available if you want to try it out.

Hello @Adam Walczak

The failure message are quite Straightforward.

I would give it a bit of time and then try again.

Best,

Arkadiusz🤠
