I cannot connect my personal github account to a new JIRA project. I am not sure what the issue is. I have a repo connected in another project; however, in a new one I keep getting the error "you need to connect an organization; requires an organization"
Problem
Can not add a repo to a github project from the code section using github app.
Solution
For personal Github accounts linked to JIRA, you can create a branch manually from an issue that then links to your repo of choice for the project. The repo will then be added to the code section of the project and you can continue with smart commits from there.
Hello, Good day. Go to specific project settings >> Development Tools and check the Github status.

Hi Mohanraj,
I actually believe that this is now a bug to report. No big deal! I found a solution to the problem I was having.
I could not add the repo via the build tools (the modal drop down was always greyed out), but I could create a branch from a ticket and select a repo there!
