We have upgraded to Premium for the Advaced Roadmaps Functionality and I am struggling to configure my plans to include the Team field.
I've gone through the following steps:
1. Team Custom field in JIRA (it is locked) has been associated with the necessary screens
2. Teams have been created
I can see the team field when creating issues, but according to the instructions I have found I should be able to Configure my plans, click on custom fields and add the 'Team' Field - however I cannot see the 'Team' field in that view.
I am also struggling to understand how I assign a Team to a plan..I think I need this field on my plan in order to be able to?
Any thoughts?? I am reaching desperation :')

Welcome to the community.
I work with only a Standard Jira Cloud plan, so I can't directly check functionality of Advanced Roadmaps. My advice comes from what I'm finding in documentation.

Can you provide links to the documents you've referenced, and perhaps a screen image of your advanced roadmaps screen?
