Cannot bulk move issues from next-gen project to classic project

I am trying to move all the issues from a new gen project to a classic project. When I try to do it, on step 2 of the bulk operation, it shows: "NOTE: You do not have the permission to move one or more of the selected issues." 

I have checked both global permissions and project permissions to see if I have permissions to move and I should, so what else do I need to do.

Hi @mahnoor.cheema

You'll need to ensure in the Next-Gen Projects you have a project role with the "Move Any Issue" permission, even if you're a Jira Admin.

Either you as a Jira Admin or the Next-Gen Project Admin can do this:

1. On the Next-Gen project, go to Project Settings > Access
2. Press "Add People", locate your user and choose the role "Member" or "Administrator"
3. Press Add

^ If your Next-Gen project is set to "Open" - any logged in user should already have the role "Member"

If this doesn't work - then check:

• Your user group has the Global Permission "Make bulk changes" - go to Jira Settings > System > Global Permissions to check
• Check you haven't got custom roles in your Next-Gen project with different permissions. The easiest way to do this is to press "Manage Roles" next to Add People in Next-Gen project settings, then duplicate the role - it'll show you what permissions it does and does not have. It will need to have "Move Any Issue"

Dear @mahnoor.cheema 

You should be Project administrator of both project to do this migration.

If you have. kindly try to move one issue only by used Move option inside issue key portal. this step just for confirm.
