Cannot add a extra Epic

i am not able an extra Epic and Epic button is not showing in the backlog view on the left as it should

As per the details you provided, I believe you are using a next-gen project, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If it's a next-gen, currently you can create an Epic using the + button on the left side or the Create button if your site already has the new top navigation bar.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Add Versions and Epics panel on next-gen backlog

Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

If it's not a next-gen, would it be possible to share with us a screenshot of the backlog?
