Cannot Complete Sprint in Next-Gen

Unable to complete a sprint - getting the message:

Sprint cannot be completed as there are incomplete subtasks on the following issues

Understand that incomplete subtasks would prevent me from completing the sprint.

I have the administrative permission and created a customized column "Cancelled" in the board in which the incomplete subtasks belong.

Would it be possible to configure the sprint to complete both the Done and Cancelled issues/tasks/subtask?

Temporarily i have moved the entire parent issue to the next sprint.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

On next-gen projects, only the last column adds a resolution to tickets and in Jira tickets are considered closed by the resolution and not by the status. 

With that said, if the sub-tasks are not moved to the very last column on the board, it will not be considered as closed and the error message about closing the sprint will appear.

Currently, it's not possible to set a resolution on another column.
