Canned Responses/Templates for Multi Line Custom Fields

Basically there are multiple ways to have Canned Responses for the comments field, but is there way to do this for either the Description or Custom Multi line text fields?

Being able to insert a template into other fields would help us manage issues, escalation and problem tracking a little easier by providing a list of information that is required before passing the ticket over to a next team. 

An  example is we request our agents to summarize a ticket before handing it off to our 2nd/3rd level teams. Depending how an issue went there could be a dozen or more comments. Instead we could have them edit a Custom Field and have them enter in the required information, but this information will differ depending on which team it's going to, such as a Back up Team, NOC, etc.
