Hi

 

I would like to cancel/delete my account on Jira, Trello and atlassian. Please help do so. I can't do it online.  I have tried on atlassian but get an error because of Jira.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

To delete your user account you must not be the last billing admin for an active subscription.

If the system is telling you that you are, then those subscriptions need to be either cancelled or another user needs to be designated as the billing admin.

To make another user the billing admin and leave the subscriptions active:

It can take Atlassian some time to process a subscription cancellation. You may need to wait a few days or a couple of weeks for that to occur before you can delete your user account.

Hi @Maria Sørensen , can you share the steps you attempted? You should be able to delete as follows...

  1. Go toid.atlassian.com/manage-profile 
  2. Select Account preferences at the top
  3. Select Delete account

if these are the steps you followed please share the error you receive (screenshot).

  • User is last billing admin of a transaction account that has one or more active entitlements.

Hi @Maria Sørensen 

What error message did you get? If you created Atlassian sites using your account, they may still be billing accounts for those Organizations.

  1. Cancel all subscriptions: Cancel a subscription | Atlassian Support
  2. Delete all Organizations that you don't need anymore: Delete an Atlassian organization | Atlassian Support
    Note: you may have to wait a while until you can delete the Org
  3. Delete your Atlassian Account: Delete your Atlassian account | Atlassian Support

Note: Cancelling subscriptions and deleting Organizations affects all users that are on there. So make sure to transfer billing to a different user instead, if it's not just yourself.

If your Account is managed by an Organization, you cannot delete the Atlassian Account from your Account settings. In that case, you need to follow these instructions or ask an Org Admin to do so: Delete a managed account | Atlassian Support

I can't choose a subscription. 

I am on the free plans but I don't want open accounts.
