Can you make fix versions a required field at a certain point in your work flow?

We are looking to have fix versions an optional field in the initial stages of our workflow, in the later stages when it passes "PO review" to "Complete" we would like the fix versions field to become mandatory. Is this possible?

In target transition , you can configure Field required Validator and select Fix versions as field required.

Hi @Helen Clements  ,

To configure this you need to have jira administrator permission for configuring workflow validators.

Please refer below document on how to add validator to workflow transition.

HI, 

How could I do the same but with the new Scrum projects in Jira?. 
The "Fix Version" field, is not being shown in the drop-down list when I try to set the rule in the state transition.
