Can you have a default Board shown for a user?

Is there any way to have a default Board that is shown to my user in Jira? My organization uses multiple Boards to track our work, and when I navigate to different tickets, the Board under the Planning section on the left pane is changed from what I was previously on. I need a way to set the desired Board for my user so that whenever I log into Jira, that is the Board that is presented to me.

Unfortunately, Jira doesn't currently have a feature to configure a default board, but there is a feature request that talks about that.

I'll suggest that you vote for the feature request.

As a workaround, you can share the direct URL of the board with the users.
