I'm new to Jira Cloud.
We have 5 existing team managed projects but like a Scrum Board that an admin has created under a company managed project. The project admin has created the appropriate filter and the Jira admin has created the Scrum board under a company managed project (as asked). However, even though we have moved the statuses under the board columns, we cannot see the issues on the Scrum Board.
Is it not possible to create a scrum board under a company managed project using a filter/query with team managed projects?
If not, please suggest a work around.

I have done a test with a similar setup in a test environment of mine and that works perfectly fine. The prerequisites are:
Even though it works technically, I would advise against this approach. If you want to work across different projects from a single board, company managed projects are the way to go. Even if it may take you some time and hassle to migrate your team managed projects to company managed projects, I would still recommend you to go through that process.
Hope this helps!
Yes, this does help. I'll try it and see what happens. Bullet point 4 is what I might have been missing.
Your advise is spot on. The goal is to migrate the team managed projects to company managed soon.
Thank you.
