Can you all change parent of a subtask?

I am not able to change the parent of one of my subtasks. Getting the attached error.

You can't change the parent. You need to recreate the subtask under the correct parent and close (resolve) the old one with a reason like created in error

The link you have mentioned above does not tell about how to change the parent of a subtask. 

Earlier I could do that easily. 

I have observed this strange error recently. :(
