Can you add an approval to Jira Cloud Workflow or Automation

We use Jira Cloud software for development and I want to automate an approval step where our Change Advisory can approve or decline moving a ticket into UAT & PROD. I have lots of posts and articles that explain how to do this using Service Management but we do not use that.

Is this possible just using Jira Cloud?

Thank you for your question.

Previously, approval feature was available only in Team-managed projects, in Premium and Enterprise ( https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/set-up-approvals-in-your-business-project/ )

Recently, the feature has been added for company-projects too, but again is available only in Premium and Enterprise: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/what-are-approvals/ 

Sumarizing, the feature is available for software projects, but it is required a Premium or Enterprise license.
