Can we hide/remove  deferred story from backlog.

Another option is to build an additional (future) Sprint space as a placeholder for these deferred tickets.  If you don't start the Sprint, it is not an active Sprint, just a future Sprint.  Then you can just right click and assign it to this "Deferred" Sprint.  Our PO prefers to manage work this way.
