Can we filter Epics based on Filters?

I want to add some labels only to epics and not to its tasks. Further, i want to be able to filter epics based on their labels. Is that possible?

Hi Parvy, welcome to the Community. Sure you can accomplish these goals.

When you add a label to an Epic the children will not inherit those labels unless you have some automation setup to cause that to occur. If you want to bulk add these labels to several epics simply create a search for them under Advanced search screen, e.g. issue in (epic1, epic2, epic17...) then in the upper right click on the ellipses and select Bulk change. Use the Edit option when prompted.

Now to filter the epics create and save a filter like this....

Labels = label1

or

labels in (label1, label22...)
