Can we disable customer's users instead of having to delete them?

In Jira Help Desk, we need to have the ability to disable customer's users instead of deleting them.

This is because while we want to remove a user, we still want to be able to see the list of closed tickets raised by a disabled user.

If we go for deletion, we are no longer to see this report.

Hi @Innovate Tax Technical Team , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.

I see what you mean, you seem to only be able to delete customers, instead of disabling them.

I guess the workaround for this is to remove them from the organization, https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/remove-a-customer-from-an-organization/ , if you are using organizations.

Otherwise, I don't see another way to do this, as you say, preserving the history of who created the ticket.

Best wishes
