Can we customize the Priority sort order (e.g. "ORDER BY priority DESC") in Jira Cloud?

This may be a duplicate of an existing question (see link at bottom), but I would like to  search our Jira Cloud issues and sort the results by Priority in this order:

  1. Blocker
  2. Critical
  3. Major
  4. Minor
  5. Trivial

'ORDER BY priority DESC' seems to return this order now:

  1. Major
  2. Critical
  3. Blocker
  4. Minor
  5. Trivial

Thanks for your help!

That link you posted it rather old (2011).  Not sure it would still help here.

I'd be interested to see if you can navigate to your Cloud URL + /secure/admin/ViewPriorities.jspa

This page will list all the priorities in your Jira instance and the order in which they appear.  You should have up and down arrows where you can then change the order here.   Of course to view that page or change the order, you will need to be a Jira Administrator.

Yup, that's the interface I needed - thanks!
