Can we create a new drop down field in people section?

This is the requirement actually i got.

Add a new field for ALL issue types from "ARC: Scrum Issue Type Scheme".
Field name: Squad
Field position: In People section between Assignee and Reporter
Field values: (can be empty - default value), Content Migration A, Content Migration B, BrandLab, Suppliers Portal, Features, Testing Automations, Cross-squad

Field to be single-select value and only values from the list above can be selected (or it can be empty).

In People section on issue view you cannot add fields different than user picker.
